STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- **1. General**
- These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by SweepAway (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By accepting a quote, booking a service, or making payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
- **2. Payment Terms**
- Invoices are payable within **14 days from the invoice date**, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are in AUD and may include GST where applicable.
- **3. Late Payment**
- If payment is not received by the due date, SweepAway reserves the right to:
- * Charge interest at a rate of **10% per month, calculated daily**, on overdue amounts
- * Suspend or cancel any ongoing or future services without notice
- **4. Debt Recovery**
- If payment remains outstanding for more than **30 days**, SweepAway may refer the matter to a debt collection agency or initiate legal proceedings. All associated costs, including legal and recovery fees, will be payable by the client.
- **5. Cancellations & Rescheduling**
- * A minimum of **24 hours’ notice** is required to cancel or reschedule a service
- * Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to **50% of the service cost**
- * Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at **100% of the service fee**
- **6. Access to Premises**
- The client must provide safe, unobstructed, and timely access to the premises.
- If access is not provided at the scheduled time, SweepAway reserves the right to charge the full service fee.
- **7. Condition of Premises**
- The client must ensure the premises are in a condition suitable for cleaning. Excessively hazardous, unsafe, or unsanitary environments must be disclosed prior to service. SweepAway reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions pose a risk to health or safety.
- **8. Service Standards**
- SweepAway will perform services with due care, skill, and professionalism. However, results may vary depending on factors such as the condition, age, and maintenance of the property and surfaces.
- **9. Client Obligations**
- The client agrees to:
- * Provide accurate information about the premises and required services
- * Secure or remove any fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items
- * Ensure pets are restrained or controlled during service
- SweepAway is not responsible for damage to items that were not properly secured or disclosed.
- **10. Damage & Breakage**
- Any damage or breakage must be reported within **24 hours of service completion**.
- SweepAway will assess the claim and, where appropriate, may repair, replace, or compensate for the item.
- Normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or deterioration are not covered.
- **11. Limitation of Liability**
- To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- * SweepAway’s liability is limited to the value of the services provided
- * SweepAway is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of income, business, or opportunity
- **12. Satisfaction Guarantee**
- If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within **24 hours**. We will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue. Refunds are not guaranteed and are provided at our discretion.
- **13. Health & Safety**
- SweepAway reserves the right to refuse or cease services where there is a risk to staff health and safety, including but not limited to exposure to hazardous materials, aggressive behaviour, or unsafe environments.
- **14. Variations & Additional Work**
- Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges. These will be communicated where possible prior to completion.
- **15. Termination of Services**
- SweepAway reserves the right to terminate services at any time due to non-payment, unsafe conditions, or breach of these terms.
- **16. Governing Law**
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of **Victoria, Australia**, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
