STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS 


  1. **1. General**
  2. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by SweepAway (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By accepting a quote, booking a service, or making payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  3. **2. Payment Terms**
  4. Invoices are payable within **14 days from the invoice date**, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All prices are in AUD and may include GST where applicable.

  5. **3. Late Payment**
  6. If payment is not received by the due date, SweepAway reserves the right to:

  7. * Charge interest at a rate of **10% per month, calculated daily**, on overdue amounts
  8. * Suspend or cancel any ongoing or future services without notice

  9. **4. Debt Recovery**
  10. If payment remains outstanding for more than **30 days**, SweepAway may refer the matter to a debt collection agency or initiate legal proceedings. All associated costs, including legal and recovery fees, will be payable by the client.

  11. **5. Cancellations & Rescheduling**

  12. * A minimum of **24 hours’ notice** is required to cancel or reschedule a service
  13. * Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to **50% of the service cost**
  14. * Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at **100% of the service fee**

  15. **6. Access to Premises**
  16. The client must provide safe, unobstructed, and timely access to the premises.
  17. If access is not provided at the scheduled time, SweepAway reserves the right to charge the full service fee.

  18. **7. Condition of Premises**
  19. The client must ensure the premises are in a condition suitable for cleaning. Excessively hazardous, unsafe, or unsanitary environments must be disclosed prior to service. SweepAway reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions pose a risk to health or safety.

  20. **8. Service Standards**
  21. SweepAway will perform services with due care, skill, and professionalism. However, results may vary depending on factors such as the condition, age, and maintenance of the property and surfaces.

  22. **9. Client Obligations**
  23. The client agrees to:

  24. * Provide accurate information about the premises and required services
  25. * Secure or remove any fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items
  26. * Ensure pets are restrained or controlled during service

  27. SweepAway is not responsible for damage to items that were not properly secured or disclosed.

  28. **10. Damage & Breakage**
  29. Any damage or breakage must be reported within **24 hours of service completion**.
  30. SweepAway will assess the claim and, where appropriate, may repair, replace, or compensate for the item.
  31. Normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or deterioration are not covered.

  32. **11. Limitation of Liability**
  33. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  34. * SweepAway’s liability is limited to the value of the services provided
  35. * SweepAway is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of income, business, or opportunity

  36. **12. Satisfaction Guarantee**
  37. If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within **24 hours**. We will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue. Refunds are not guaranteed and are provided at our discretion.

  38. **13. Health & Safety**
  39. SweepAway reserves the right to refuse or cease services where there is a risk to staff health and safety, including but not limited to exposure to hazardous materials, aggressive behaviour, or unsafe environments.

  40. **14. Variations & Additional Work**
  41. Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges. These will be communicated where possible prior to completion.

  42. **15. Termination of Services**
  43. SweepAway reserves the right to terminate services at any time due to non-payment, unsafe conditions, or breach of these terms.

  44. **16. Governing Law**
  45. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of **Victoria, Australia**, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
